AQA Introductory Assignment Assessment 1: MAGAZINE PRINT
The Task
There are two parts to this assignment. In both parts, you are being assessed on your knowledge of MEDIA LANGUAGE and AUDIENCE.
Firstly you must analyse the front cover or front page of two magazines or two comics or two newspapers. How do the covers/pages engage the interest of their audience?
Secondly, Design the cover for one edition of a magazine or comic or the front page of a newspaper. The publication should be aimed at a specific audience. You also need to write a very short (100 words) explanation of the media language and audience factors you tried to include.
All assessment work is primarily done in class.
